Tasting Room Sales Associate (Carmel Valley,CA)

We are currently seeking an experienced Tasting Room Sales Associate to provide the highest level of customer service and a memorable wine experience for our visitors.
Applicants must be able to lift and carry 48 pound cases of wine.
This position will be responsible for teaching our visitors about our wine, retail sales, wine club development.
The goal of this position is to provide each guest with a positive and memorable wine experience and to increase wine club sales and Wine Club Memberships.
If you have a passion and knowledge of fine wines and a desire to learn more and have previous hospitality experience, a professional demeanor then we would like to hear from you! Additional duties include, stocking inventory, cash register (Square) operations, daily opening and closing procedures.
Ideal Candidates will have previous tasting room experience and/or wine club experience and demonstrate the following: 1.

Ability to operate a cash register effectively and accurately (If you have a background in restaurant hospitality with a great knowledge of wine and feel you are able to preform all the tasks stated in this posting, we encourage our resumes as well.
) Additional Requirements: 1.
Must be at least 21 years of age to open and pour wine.
2.
Ability to stand for long periods of time and able to lift and carry up to 48 lbs.
3.
Knowledge of wine, winemaking and viticulture.
Knowledge of CRE Point of Sale system a plus (Square) Job Type: Part-time Pay: $23.
