Duties
Setting up full service, limited service, special event or banquet bars with beverages, mixes, condiments, garnishes, napkins, ice, glasses and utensils.
May serve soft drinks, bottle or draft beer as needed.
Replaces supplies as necessary; removes empty kegs and replaces with full ones, transfers cases of beer to refrigerator, removes cases of empty bottles and separates returnable empty bottles.
May unload and stack beverage items and supplies for storage.
Removes trash.
Washes, cleans and dries bar glasses, utensils and equipment.
Ensures working area is maintained according to appropriate sanitation and safety standards to included, but not limited to sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning sinks, walls, cabinets, etc.
Assist in taking inventory at required intervals.
Responsible for complying with all safety, fire and sanitation rules and regulations.
Operates a limited service bar such as portable bars for private parties and banquets.
Mixes and serves alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, receives and records payment at time of sale, and maintains inventory of stock.
Ensures bar is in a presentable and sanitary condition.
Waiting and food handling is apart of the position and will be expected of applicant to perform on a daily basis.
Performs other related duties as required.
Must meet minimum age requirement.

Qualifications The incumbent must have the ability to visually recognize shortages of supplies at the bar such as beverages, beer, condiments, garnishes, glasses, napkins, and utensils, and to replace them as needed.
Skill is needed to use knives and automatic slicers in the preparation of garnishes such as or oranges, limes, and lemons.
The incumbent has the ability to serve drinks from a limited menu Education A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
