We are a unique and loving family residing in Marina, California, seeking a compassionate and experienced nanny to join our household.
I am a single father dedicated to providing the best care for my two children, ages 30 and 21, both of whom are transgender and bravely managing complex PTSD with associated regression.
My daughter regresses to an age range of about 6 months to 1 year.
She also navigates challenges with depression and bipolar 2 disorder, along with full incontinence.
My son, regressing to an age range of 4-6 years, has ADHD and is on the autism spectrum.
Both use diapers, with my daughter requiring them full-time and my son part-time.
We are looking for a nanny who can compassionately and skillfully manage their unique needs.
This includes assistance with medication management, feeding, bathing, and dressing.
We also need support with cooking, some light housekeeping, laundry, and general care.
More than just a caregiver, we seek someone who can actively engage with Emily and Xaine, encouraging them to explore activities outside the home and participate in enriching experiences suitable for their emotional and developmental states.
Key Responsibilities:
Medication management for both children.
Feeding, bathing, and dressing assistance.
Engaging in developmental and age-appropriate activities.
Light housekeeping and cooking nutritious meals.
Laundry and general care.
Facilitating outdoor and social activities to enrich their lives.
Requirements:
Experience in Childcare, preferably with individuals with special needs, or with infants/toddlers.
Understanding and supportive of transgender identities.
Patience and a nurturing disposition.
Ability to handle medical and emotional needs with sensitivity.
A valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
