Esthetics Instructor

Responsibilities: * Oversee Esthetics classes and school license procedures.
* Manage Esthetics curriculum and equipment.
* Work as a team to maintain relationships with faculty, staff, students, and the public.
* Lead student learning and student success * Develop and implement programs to serve the needs of the college Qualifications: * Excellent teaching skills.
* Strong communication skills.
* Strong customer service skills.
* Ability to apply relevant current education methodologies and techniques Education and Training: * High School Diploma * Active California Cosmetology/Esthetician license * Teaching experience at a cosmetology school or equivalent 2-5 years required * Experience in a private, postsecondary vocational educational environment or salon a plus Work Environment: Exciting startup environment that provides opportunities to make the class teaching style and materials your own.

Candidate must be able to conduct duties in a school environment, work with adult learners related to classroom duties that require attention to the spa environment and operate esthetic equipment as well as operate standard office equipment, including use of computer, display screens, telephones, and other related devices.
