Adventures in Writing Camp is looking for new staff members to join us this summer! We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our team.
As an Elementary School Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds and futures of young campers.
This is an opportunity to make a positive impact on their summer and help them develop essential skills for their academic and personal growth.
Responsibilities: -Lead and motive using engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum - Provide instruction with positivity, enthusiasm, and fun! - Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and collaboration - Utilize effective teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles - Incorporate technology into lessons to enhance student engagement and understanding - Collaborate with other teachers and staff to have a great overall experience - Monitor student behavior and maintain a safe and respectful camp experience.
Experience: - Bachelor's degree (Master's Degree preferred) - Proven experience working with students, excellent classroom management - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to effectively manage classroom dynamics - Experience in mentoring or coaching students is a plus - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail - Ability to proofread materials for accuracy If you are passionate about writing and making a difference in the lives of young learners, we encourage you to apply.
