Sailing Instructor

Sail Monterey and its team enjoy the lifestyle work of sailors and entertainers.
Our goal here is to provide every guest with a fun adventure centered around the sailing experience.
We take guests on sailing charters and also teach those interested how to sail.
This summer, Sail Monterey will offer - Public and Private Catamaran Cruises for up to 23 passengers - Private Keelboat Sailing Cruises for up tp 6 passengers - Sailing Lessons - ASA sailing classes 101 - 104.
We are hoping to add more team members to our summer roster to help us provide guests with unforgettable sailing experiences on the Monterey Bay and top tier sailing classes to prepare students to sail on their own! We are looking for an experienced Captain to join our team and lead our crew.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in navigation, maritime law, and safety regulations.
The Captain will be responsible for the safe operation of the vessel, overseeing the crew and ensuring that all procedures are followed correctly.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a passion for sailing.
Responsibilities: * Ensure the safety of passengers and crew.
* Navigate and pilot the vessel safely and efficiently.
* Teach ASA sailing classes * Plan and execture sailing lessons and classes Job Type: Contract Pay: $25.
00 - $45.
