Mastiff needs rescue in Salinas (Salinas)

This dog needs a rescue/foster/ adopter where she can be the only dog! She is at shelter in Salinas and needs help! “Rescue needed! Brandy is a 93- lb lap dog (in her mind anyway!).
She does her best to wiggle her way right up there, as close to you as possible.
Whatever happened in her life to have her end up as an unclaimed stray dog is a mystery.
I can guarantee she loved her people and I’m quite sure she’s missing them terribly.
Some sort of mastiff is likely her breed category.
We aged her at around two years.
She is in pretty good shape and she walks beautifully on leash; despite being large enough to pull me, she did not.
Why rescue? She doesn’t seem to be real keen on other dogs.
We tested her with several and the only one she was ok with was Storm (small husky mix) who has a very neutral energy around other dogs.
This makes it extra hard to find rescue, too, since most everyone in rescue has other dogs.
I need help finding this girl a safe spot to land.
She is a super-sweet girl and she’d love to have someone to call her own again.
