Seeking one responsible, friendly, and clean roommate for a fully furnished bedroom available starting March 12 through June 30th (possibly longer).

Located in a cute mid-century house with high ceilings and open floorplan common space 6 blocks from the beach! The house is a duplex house with 2 bedrooms and 1 shared bathroom.
The neighbors are next door, so no one lives above our below the unit.
Short walking distance to DLI, Aquarium and Cannery Row.
Approximately 30 minute walk to downtown Monterey and MIIS or a 5 minute drive.
Short drive to NPS and MPC! Super safe and friendly neighborhood up on a hill overlooking the Monterey Bay.
The total living space is approximately 940 square feet plus approximately 100 sq ft of storage in the garage.
The bedroom is 9 ft x 12.
5 ft (112 sq ft plus a closet).
You don't need to bring anything but your suitcases for this place! If you like to cook and entertain, this is a dream setup! The kitchen is nicely furnished and has a gas stove and dishwasher.
You'll be able to use my air fryer, microwave, stand mixer, instant pot, toaster, BBQ, and other cooking equipment.
The bedroom is furnished with a comfortable full-sized bed (1 year old Serta mattress and solid wood bedframe), desk, chair, nightstand, a small and large bookshelf, large closet, lamp, TV, and Flex streaming box.
The room has a large window with a screen, blinds, and blackout curtains.
(The artwork and rug in the bedroom belong to my current roommate and are not included.
You are welcome to decorate the room to your liking!).
There is room in the garage for sporting equipment such as SCUBA gear, bicycles, and/or surfboards.
You'll also have full access to my newish LG washer/dryer set.
There is a large patio with a charcoal grill, fire pit, chairs, and a table.
Additional patio plants are welcome! There
is a single shared bathroom.
Occasional overnight guests are welcome and there's a futon in the living room for guest use.
My landlord will not allow additional pets in the house (I have 1 dog and 3 guinea pigs), but an ESA or service animal with proper documentation is welcome.
My dog gets along best with submissive or non-confrontational medium/large dogs (She's an alpha and a bit older).
The house does not have a fenced yard, but there are two nice dog-friendly parks within a few minutes walk.
About me (your prospective roommate): single 38-year old female, working full-time as a wildlife biologist, typically working from home 2-3 days a week.
I'm a non-smoker.
I drink occasionally, but not in excess.
I'm extroverted, relaxed as a roommate, and easy to get along with.
I enjoy having company over, hosting dinner parties and small arts/music events.
I like to hike and camp, see live music, paddleboard, and hangout at the beach on the weekends.
I've lived in this house for about 2 years and love the house and the neighborhood.

IMPORTANT: You must be okay with approximately once a month weekend parties with approximately 20-35 guests and live music.
I don't throw "ragers" - these are mellow "house shows" with a regular group of friends (and a few of their young kids) in attendance that end by 11pm.
If you are not comfortable with living in a social house, this isn't for you.
But if you're new to Monterey or just want to meet more friends in town, living here is awesome.
You'll have a great time and meet some of the nicest and most creative people in the area.
A deposit of $1300 is required.
An application fee of $39.
99 may be required for a background check and credit screening (I generally waive this for graduate students and friends-of-friends with secure funds for rent).
